COLORADO
The Beginning
Growing up in the mountains of Colorado, Jeff was drawn to all things left-of-center, individual and outdoors. After a few years of failed competitive skiing and ski jumping, he began excelling internationally as a junior cyclist and snowboarder. He also loved learning piano with his grandmother, and pursuing guitar and drums on his own from the young age of 5, a formula he perfected as he grew into his early teens and created his first successful run as a musical artist with his band opening for the likes of Blink 182, The Aquabats, Minor Threat, and many others.
A few years later in his mid teens, he signed his first professional athletic endorsement contract with his then-favorite snowboard company, Agression Snowboards as well as several other major softgoods brands. At Agression, he soaked up the art of branding and creative direction under one of the best in the business as they immediately included him in brand strategy with global advertisements in every major snowboard publication, catalog covers and design input, and by ultimately giving him opportunities to have a say in how the brand incorporated him.
Jeff continued to snowboard professionally as he studied at The University of Colorado Boulder while he also pursued a collegiate athletic career in Cycling and Triathlon. Throughout these years he helped his teams win multiple NCAA National Championships while he pursued and won an individual World Championship in Triathlon.

Visual Arts
2006
After a few major injuries forced some serious time off, and a lengthy trip to the Biennale in Italy, Jeff was very inspired to take the time necessary to formally learn filmmaking and music production with the desire to someday make a feature documentary film that was shot, directed, edited, and scored exclusively by him.
Now an athlete with expert level comprehension of camera ops and Adobe Creative Suite, Jeff began designing hard and soft goods, and producing feature film and digital content for some of the world’s leading action sports brands and entertainment companies. Jeff picked up some of his most notable sponsors, global advertisement features, and international film features during this time, while simultaneously producing content and design work for brands like Smartwool, Teton Gravity Research, Brain Farm Cinema, Ride Snowboards, K2, Oakley, Under Armour, and many others.

Music & Post Production
2012
Another major injury brought unexpected opportunity when during a lengthy activity-free recovery Jeff decided to make his first solo music album resulting in the creation of his first viral song. He began receiving offers to perform around the world, and over the following few months Jeff put a band together, flew to New York to play his first major music festival, and discovered that he felt more at home than ever on stage playing his music.
It was very important to Jeff to continue his film, brand, design, and coaching work, so he continued to live in Colorado and remain active with clients, as he pursued music, film scoring/post production, and studying contemporary sound design and music production. Upon creating his 2nd viral song Jeff received multiple publishing deal offers from both major and major-indie labels, signed one, was unhappy with the way it was going, and terminated in order to start and build - two of his very own small companies; an independent record label in partnership with Sony Music called Staycation Records (www.staycationsound.com) and a music-based services and licensing company tailored for filmmakers, entertainment and advertising producers called Audiohook.io (www.audiohook.io)
As an artist Jeff has played over 300 shows, accumulated Millions of streams and listeners, won multiple awards, created 3 viral songs, had music featured in the world’s top publications and broadcast entertainment, and collaborated with some of the globe’s leading producers and artists. Through Audiohook.io and Staycation Records Jeff has licensed music, scored music, created efficacious sound design/sound mixes, and consulted music/sound collectively on over 1000 global broadcast and digital campaigns, feature films, branded digital pieces, and strategic applications.
